DiNovo Price Appears on Behalf of Plaintiffs in German Automotive Manufacturers Antitrust Litigation
Nov. 8, 2017 – DiNovo Price LLP attorneys Christopher Goodpastor, Nicole Glauser, and Gabriel Gervey appeared on behalf of Lonny Gold and Glen Reder, proposed lead Plaintiffs for a putative class of consumer vehicle purchasers and lessees in In re German Automotive Manufacturers Antitrust Litigation, pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The suit alleges that Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen and related entities coordinated on costs, prices, suppliers, technical development, and other competitive aspects in violation of both federal and state antitrust laws and consumer protection statutes.
On October 4, 2017, the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation consolidated the case and others in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, before the Hon. Charles R. Breyer. The case is captioned In re German Automotive Manufacturers Antitrust Litigation, Case No. 3:17-md-02796 (CRB)(N.D. Cal.) (MDL No. 2796 (CRB)).
